Movin’ On Up

Following a strong performance at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational, the Princeton men’s cross country team jumped to 12th in the national poll conducted by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Tigers were ranked 23rd before taking third in the strong field in Madison, Wis., but is now ranked higher than any Ivy team since at least 1997 (Princeton was ranked 14th then). Princeton also leapfrogged into first in the Mid-Atlantic region, passing Villanova in the process.

The Tiger women fell to 15th in the national poll while the Harvard women and the Dartmouth women received votes for the top 30. The Crimson are ranked 31st while the Big Green comes in at 38th.
